BACK IN WASHINGTON FOR THE SUMMER
We are back teaching in the Pacific Northwest. Looking forward to seeing all our Washington, Oregon and Idaho friends at a clinic, lesson or play day soon. I am willing to travel if your group needs help.
SAVVY TIP!
Before you saddle up, it’s a good idea to move your horse around a bit, maybe trot
on-line
and jump over a barrel or two. When a horse has been standing for a while,
blood drains from the muscles. When your horse begins moving, blood goes
back into the muscles and the shape of the back changes. If you move your
horse briskly for a short while before putting on the saddle, it will fit better. |
GET CONNECTED
The connection between Parelli and its students just keeps getting better! After a lot of feedback about the Savvy Club, Pat and Linda are transitioning into a whole new way to communicate with students and for students to communicate with each other.
It’s called ParelliConnect.
At first glance it looks somewhat like a Facebook page, but over the next several months, as more content is added, it will become much more. And it will include all the educational materials currently available on the Savvy Club site.
Best of all, there are now two affordable membership levels to choose from.
For those of you who have never been a member or have let your membership drop, there is a free 30 day, no strings attached, no risk trial to see if Parelli Connect is right for you. Click here to claim your free 30 day trial membership.
If you are currently a Savvy Club member, you already have access, but if you are visiting the site for the first time, you need to claim your account. Click here for the “claim your account link.” The current Savvy Club website can still be accessed by members at parellisavvyclub.com, but in future years may be phased out if everyone has switched to ParelliConnect.
NEW LOWER EQUIPMENT PRICES....and new products to check out
Parelli has finally managed to dramatically change the way their equipment is produced and sold, making it available at far, far lower prices, yet not sacrificing any of the quality and workmanship. It is still made in the USA--now back in Pagosa Springs, in-house like it was in the beginning.
There are brand new rope products such as Feather Lines, a 9-foot Savvy String, smaller kid-sized carrot sticks, and new bridles & bits.

CHECK OUT "THE CRUISER" - THE NEW HYBRID SADDLE FROM PARELLI SADDLES
It’s a lighter weight English-looking saddle on the proven Parelli western Equiflex tree. The Cruiser takes care of horses better than an English saddle can because it provides optimal rider weight distribution during long hours in the saddle or on the trail. And it treats riders better than an English saddle because of its well padded and constructed seat that holds you securely on your balance point.
The Cruiser weighs close to 20 pounds, is easy to sling around, and cradles the rider more securely and comfortably than an English saddle, while distributing weight over the horse’s body more like Parelli western saddles do.
It comes in 4 colors, and various accessories are available. More information is at parellisaddles.com
If you go through me to order your new Cruiser, I’ll help you with fitting and will get a referral fee from Parelli Saddles. Thanks for your support. - Marc
